What the job usually involves
Strip out, new cabinetry and benchtop, splashback, sink and tapware, appliances, and the electrical and plumbing work behind them. Moving the sink or the cooktop to a different wall is still a kitchen renovation, but it is new pipework and new circuits, and it is the part that moves the price.
